The BEST exercises to lose weight

I get asked this question a LOT. Thing is there is no BEST exercise to do, you should enjoy your workouts. So the answer is do what you enjoy the most because you will be more likely to stick to it. Fitness isn’t just a one off thing to help you lose some weight, it really is a lifestyle and you need to find what is it you really enjoy. Set some goals, sign up for an event with friends, try new things and meet new people.

First of all MOVE more, take the stairs not the lift, park your car further away from where ever you are going, go for a walk at lunch time or in the morning (weather depending).

Start by doing cardio in the gym and then learn how to lift weights to shape your body. Get a Fitbit and track your steps aim for 10,000 a day.

Secondly start by eating nutritious non processed foods which will fill you up for longer and you’ll probably feel like you are eating MORE anyway. Start with a healthy breakfast and include some protein, healthy fats and carbohydrates - yes you can eat bread and lose weight.

So you see there is no BEST exercise to do for anything, everyone is built differently and some exercises may work for some and not others. For example running just does not work for me at all, but some people love it and good for them let them do it. If you find something you enjoy keep it up, eat well and you will see the weight will come off.
